Hey all. To "start" seeing what this is all about and for me as a admin to understand it better. (Not to mention.. it IS a nice addition to my site..)

Ok I installed LITE.

Right now, I need to make weapon packs etc.. the core rpg is installed for you all to look at etc.

I made a sub forum there for comments, talking etc.

Now how does this help?

1: I get to learn the system as a admin and thus know what it does and how to control.

2: Members here can help see what its about, what needs to be done, and general feedback to AIDE should the system be installed on qj.net (Rather use my forums as a test dummy before we put it live on qj.net)

3: Just general fun for now. Play around, see what to expect etc. =)


Once we have the data.. I can know better whats up, ask for donations to get the real version with triple triad etc.

So for now.. try the system out. I am still looking to add items etc.. still MUCH to learn about it!

So please help, post on the fourms there for feedback, so this forum isnt spammed yet. It will help me personally learn the system more, learn WHAT we need to do and so on for qj.net


Now SHOULD qj.net get the green light, I did notice I can lock it to "x" usergroups, so that will mean, Admins, Mods, and Paying members will be allowed to use the system! Perk for you all to enjoy. =D

As for secondary usergroups.. Ill have to see whats up.

Anyways enjoy and lets try to learn and help me understand it fully so once it DOES (hopefully) come to qj.net I will know what we need up front. =)

Just rem.. I have it installed to mine to better aide myself to try to see what IS needed when hopefully it comes here.. More I know about it.. better setups etc.. better I can make it for qj.net. =)

So if you have ANY info about item packs, spell packs etc.. or hell. avatar packs for your char.. be sure to post there.. Im trying to google now to find item packs etc to upload for the shop etc.

But in a nutshell.. before a system goes live here.. better to field test it 1st and get feedback, then once thats done.. we can try to have fun here with more people. =)

Yea.. trying to find them. >.< No way in hell will I try to make EVERY SINGLE weapon and item....

If I DID do that.. Ima busting out my Lunar 1 and 2 Sega cd guide books and going down the list.. which im sure most of you wouldnt mind a Lunar based item set..

Even tho.. Final Fantasy 6 I could do too.. but I dont wanna hand make them! =(

Go with Lunar...there's good FAQs out there detailing the weapons and items sets.
FF has been done with Inferno before.
The Lite is text only, the full has graphics.

I hear if I buy the 30$ version I have access to their fourms which has alot of rpg packs loaded with items ready to use.. which is tempting.. even to use just for my own site..

Granted.. once I have the item pack.. would be a zip file to use on qj.net too.. so either way its all good.

I just dont know if I can buy it for my forums and then give the full install to qj.net too or if its coded somehow only to work on the site its bought for..

Hell.. if today was friday and payday.. I might buy this lol..

It says on the site that when you buy it it gives you a lisence to use on one (1) VB installation.

Looks like alot of stuff needs to be configured. If this does get added we would probably need a few people who's job it is to add things to the RPG, as new jobs and items and weapons now and then would make it more fun.

You had the clear advantage, which kind of sucked... With having 51 strength, no one could defeat you. I myself wanted to go with Ice as my speciality, but it was tooo weak, your element is much stronger and unbalanced in my opinion (in the beginning). Once there are items, I'm sure we could take you down with ease ;)

Also, when this is uploaded to QJ, can you keep our existing charactors?

I think we should all start again, as this is just a test, plus on here they should not make it active till it has a good deal of items installed.

Hell no! EVERYONE starts out the same all over again.
Myst's place is more for practice and to get a feel for the interface.
Remember, it IS based upon vBulletin forums...can't import from another system.

Also I wont import stuff from there to here. EXPECT ITEMS and Avatars, or any other non personal tweaks I do on DM.

Personal chars wont be imported to allow a fresh start here. My forums will ALWAYS be up tho! Meaning you can always keep coming back to play more. =D

As for the rest.. field testing, getting system up, seeing what I need etc. =)

This way once its on QJ.net its fully ready to be used and thne just add more as time goes on. =)

Will the newsletter be anytime soon, i don't mean to rush you. But I'm staying up to see it, and i'm tired.

Im tempted to pay 30$ to get it... which I am not sure if that would mean I can just use it for my site AND qj.net as well.. If nothing else.. I would get the fully loaded RPG packs etc..
